I mentioned this album on Twitter earlier, but thought I’d give it a full post. Finnish indie group Viola recently published their 2005 sophomore album, Anything Can Stop Us on Jamendo.com – and it’s pretty sweet!
I listened to this while I was working this morning, and I found it to be a good upbeat album – well, apart from the first track. It’s a little slow and meandering, but everything quickly picks up with the second track. FrostClick called it “80s Electronic”, and I guess that’s an apt description. It certainly does have an 80s vibe to it.
A couple tracks I singled out: “I Don’t Know How to Party” and “”A For Apathy” were among my favourites. Anything Can Stop Us is available on Jamendo.com!
