It feels so weird realizing that today is already September 15th – or, halfway through the month – when it feels just like last week that we were busy moving into our new place. Well, if you’ve heard on the last podcast, we’re moved in, and the Alternative Airwaves studio is partially up and running. I’m still a little behind with scheduling posts (that’s what this weekend is for! That, and a lot of music listening), but I’m also trying to set up some new things to try.
One of those is a public calendar. I’ve already got some stuff on it, including the podcast schedule, and some album releases near the end of the month. One of the other items I have is for tonight at 8pm EST: a documentary airing on CBC called “Life is a Highway: Canadian Pop Music in the 90s“. This looks like it will be a pretty sweet documentary, and I’m really looking forward to it.
I have it in the calendar as two hours, but I don’t know if it’s actually that long. I forget when they air The National (9pm or 10pm?), so it largely depends on that. Anyway, if you have access to CBC in any capacity, watch this documentary.
Or, if you can’t watch it tonight, it’s re-airing on CBC News Network this Saturday night at 10pm. I’ll throw that date on the calendar as well.
